The 24th Annual Spring Awards Banquet Recap
The banquet celebrated the year's activies, community service events, and many of the learning opportunites experienced throughout the year. It was a fun way to come together in honor and recognition of the members in SWE.
The banquet was held on May 18, 2009 in the Tangeman University Center. The evening was kicked off by an elegant dinner and plenty of laughs inspired by a comical continuous slide show of pictures from the years events.
To share her wisdom and advice as a woman in engineering, Karla Tankersley spoke about what it meant to balance her life while juggling her career and her family.
UC SWE's president Jennifer Norman reminded us of the memories and accomplishments made during the year.
